An insurance audit in the industrial sector

In order to share the motivations of our clients with you and to enable you to understand the benefits of our insurance audits, we have asked one of our clients, Thyssenkrupp, to answer a few questions about their experience with our audit firm.

• What does your company do exactly?
• Our company cuts, protects and distributes stainless steel to the form required by our customers.
• What were your objectives when you contacted our audit firm?
• The objective was to review an ageing insurance program and to adapt it to changing customer base (e.g. product civil liability) and optimize expenditure. To do this, we were looking for a professional insurance auditor.
  
• How did this service roll out (from the first contact through to project completion)?
• • The first contact was made by telephone from the Ovale group (a partner of Audit Chorus Conseil),
  • A first meeting was held to define the audit project,
  • A site visit was organised, with a comprehensive questionnaire of insurance requirements,
  • The specifications were drafted and suggested,
  • The invitation to tender was launched, and finally
  • The various proposals were assessed.
• What benefits have you obtained from the service?
• A thorough risk analysis and a constructive, critical look at the insurance programs. The drawing up of an ad hoc insurance program, the resulting consultation of the insurance market and the highlighting of the strengths and weaknesses of the various proposals.
